So tonight was my first attempt at doing long exposures at night. Downtown Columbus.

Flash Pictures and Raw Editing

Here are a few pictures I took at the park last night using flash and trying to capture the beautiful sky in the background of one of them as well. I shot these in Raw and did a bit of post processing in NX2 to try to tone down the harshness of the on-camera flash.

My New Camera

I just got my new camera last night! Nikon D5000. I've created this blog to keep track of my progress with this camera and post pictures to share. I am already amazed at the 35mm f1.8 lens I bought for this camera. Here are a few shots.
